Influencer Andrew Tate banned by Meta from Facebook & Instagram for their policy violation.

Andrew Tate, a controversial online influencer and self-described misogynist, has been barred from Meta platforms Instagram and Facebook.

He went on to become well-known online, with Twitter banning him for stating that women should "bear responsibility" for sexual assault.

At the time his account was deleted, he had 4.7 million Instagram followers.

Tate rose to prominence after appearing on the 2016 season of Big Brother.

when he was fired from the show after a video of him beating a woman outside the set surfaced.

Tate has gained a following for his sexist advice videos for men.

Tate described himself as "absolutely a misogynist" in one YouTube video.

"Misogyny is a hateful ideology that TikTok does not tolerate," said a TikTok spokesperson.
